I love creative writing but it is a difficult field. Are you a member of submittable.com? It's a great database that posts upcoming submissions to graduate journals to literary journals and magazines to even contests. Some have an entry fee, others don't, rearguards it's a great way to get your work published.

Some different jobs for creative writing include teacher/tutor, ESL teacher, proofreader, editor, possibly even greeting card writer. If you'd like to teach your own creative writing class, check out boomwriter or cottageclass. I know not all of these are exactly creative, but some can be a great way to get your foot into the door. You can always check out remote internships on a job site such as indeed.com; many are unpaid but the internship experience can lead to something.

Hope this helps,
