An unknown author, assuming you've written a great piece, needs to go to a small publishing house. Many universities have, in house publishing entities, although they are typically for their own textbooks. It's rally tough for a newcommer but if your draft is really, really good, you will succeed with perseverance. At some of the larger publishing houses, they're are departments that seek out great transcripts from unknown authors.
