Ever considered a career in technical writing? The demand is great and Liberal Arts majors are highly desired in this field. What is technical writing? Well if you ever read instructions on how to operate technology, repair, install or remove components, then you've been exposed to this form of publishing. As new technologies are created so is the need for someone to write the instructions on how to use, maintain, inspect, or repair it. Plus if you're a freelancer like me you can be your own boss and in most cases your clients will pay for your living expenses until the project is completed. A good technical writer with at least five years experience can make anywhere between $50K to 100K a year.
